Planned network of highways in Poland: The first project aims at creating "north-south" route from Gdańsk through Łódź to Krakow, Katowice and Cieszyn. The second project aims at creating road network connecting east with west - from Warsaw through Łódź, Poznań to Germany, and from Krakow through Katowice to Germany. In the future those routes will become an integral part of road network connecting Northern Europe with the Southern.
